Trimming the Tree

We decided that this year we really wanted to extend our holidays, so...Our tree is up! We, of course, had to go buy new lights. Our 5-year-old strands just did not want to do it this year. The boys absolutely loved placing ornaments and really got into the whole event. It was precious because the boys kept commenting on how big the tree is and how cool that it is in our house. Our tree is teeny-tiny! We really must take advantage of this time when their expectations are low and few. So, after a Target run and pumpkin-sausage pasta, our tree was decorated (a bit bottom-heavy at first :) )!
